ABOUT ME

I never planned to become a photographer.

It all started much earlier, back in school, when an old camera first ended up in my hands. I simply photographed everything around me — friends, streets, the light in the window. I wasn’t thinking about a profession back then, but those moments taught me to see the world differently.

Later, at university, I joined the student media group, and the camera became a natural part of my everyday life. I earned a degree in engineering and went on to work in the field for five years, following schedules, requirements, schemes and protocols. Yet inside, there was a quiet feeling that I was sitting in the wrong chair, breathing air that wasn’t mine.

One morning I woke up and understood: I can’t live like this anymore. I don’t want to sit in an office. I don’t want to live by someone else’s tasks. I don’t want to hide the most alive part of myself.

I chose the camera, and from that moment everything began to change.
Today my work is exhibited in different countries — France, Poland, the United States and Japan. My photographs have been published in Vogue and featured in the 10th annual 35AWARDS catalog, which includes only the strongest works selected from around the world.

I have been ranked among:

• The Top 50 Photographers in Moscow
• The TOP 35 Nude Photographers Worldwide

But honestly, my achievements are not about rankings.
They are about the path I’ve taken — about how a simple school camera became the starting point of who I am today.
